Novice 3, U9, 2015-2016 (Ayr Flames)

The playoff finals for Division B began on Tuesday night the teams were, Ayr Flames 3 against Woolwich 2.  

The LL3 Novice boys had the opportunity to play in The Little Brave Tournament for the day during the March Break.  The boys did fantastic as they had fun and played their best. They played three games in one day for the tournament.  The first game was against Twin Center and was an intense and long one with the entire game ending scoreless, so LL3 went into overtime. Overtime went into the 8th period, making the game 1 on 1 and Cohen Dalton scored the winning goal.

The Ayr Minor Hockey Tournament was this weekend and the LL3 boys had a ton of fun in playing in it. The team would like to say a big thank you and a job well done to, Liam Finn and Ryder Cunningham, who were the AP’s that were able to join us for the tournament,  LL3 was able to play three games and they were all incredible intense. 

The final game of the playoffs happened at the NDCC against our worthy home opponents Novice LL4.  Our boys knew how important this game was and you could see it in the way they played.  There was great skating, passing, and most important teamwork. The entire game was intense and the crowd could feel it, there wasn’t a person sitting down.

These two games this weekend, were important ones for Novice LL3, if they could win both games then it means the boys are going to the finals. It all started with a great game in Tavistock on Friday night, keeping the first period scoreless with goalie, JS Deacon, at his best again, saving all attempts at net.
