Jan. 31 - PLAYOFF GAME vs. Woolwich Wildcats #2
The second game against Woolwich was held at home on January 31st, and
both teams were ready to play to win.
Dalton and Aoun scored our two goals both unassisted, in the first
period.
More great saves by Deacon and Lindsay was able to keep the puck in the Wildcats end to finish the first period. Steward, Dalton, and Samay made a fantastic play with passing going seamlessly to get the puck out of our end. The Wildcats scored a goal and got a penalty but we were unable to get a power play goal. The third period started with a brilliant save by Deacon, half way through the period the Wildcats scored to tie up the game. Even though we ended the period short handed due to a Flames penalty we were able to end the game tied 2-2. Next weekend we are at home for games again Ayr 1 and 4.
