On Saturday, February 27th,
Novice LL4 played against their friends and classmates on Novice LL3.
LL3 opened up the scoring in the first period. Fisher Woznica soon tied the game with a quick shot on the net. He was assisted by Paul Fahner. The second period was very eventful with both teams putting their best effort forward. Every team member on LL4 played hard. Grant Smith displayed his amazing goal tending ability by repeatedly taking away any scoring opportunities the opposing team had. Unfortunately in the third period, LL3 was able to pull ahead, ending the game with a 2-1 lead. Congrats on your win, LL3! And thus ends our play-off win. Special thanks to coaches Randy Smith and Tyler Brown, and trainer Tricia McEwan for providing excellent mentorship to our team this season! Each team member brought their own unique abilities and talent together to create a dynamic team. Goalie: Grant Smith. Wingmen: Maxx Vanoosteveen, Bryce McEwan, Ethan Tanner, Andrew Sayles, Liam Fahner, Lane Sauder. Thanks for a great 2015-2016 hockey season.
