On Saturday, Novice LL4 took on took on the Tavistock Titans on our home turf: the NDCC. Ethan Tanner débuted as goalie for this game. Ethan did a great job protecting the net against the strong opposing team. However, there were a lot of shots on the goal this game; and a few got by. We once again welcomed Luca Grbac to the team for this game.
During the first 2 periods, Tavistock scored a total of 4 goals. Novice LL4 managed to hold them back for
a time in the third period. LL4 started their comeback 5 minutes into the third period with a fantastic
goal by Luca Grbac, assisted by Maxx Vanoosteveen and Braydon Hall. Tavistock then squeaked another
goal in, but it was soon followed with another goal by Luca Grbac, this time assisted by Fisher Woznica.
Unfortunately time ran out before Novice LL4 was
able to complete a full comeback. Regardless, it was a game well played. Final score: 5-2 for Tavistock Titans. (By: R. Sauder)
