January 16th - 16th game vs. Paris Wolfpack 2
The 1st period started off with a goal by MacAulay, assisted by Dalton and Holman, and an awesome save by Deacon. Paris was able to answer our goal with one of their own, which made our boys skate harder and faster. Our second goal was by Dalton, who got the rebound from Aoun. Holman, Coughlin, Hanlon, Hoch, and Lindsay were on fire on defence and the period ended with a fight for the puck just outside the Flames’ net.
The 2nd period started off with lots of action in front of our net and Deacon was able to make a brilliant blind save. Dalton got a breakaway, ending in a goal with an assist going to Steward; MacAulay scored the second goal of the 2nd period with an assist going to Steward again. The boys were unstoppable as Samay got the third goal of the period with an assist by Aoun and Vaisanen. That ended the 2nd period 5-1 for the Flames.
The 3rd was an intense one. Defence was on fire for this period keeping it out of our end for most of the period, which Samay took advantage of and took a shot on net getting a goal with an assist by Washenko and Hoch. With seconds left in the 3rd period, Paris was able to score one last goal. The game ended 6-2 for the Flames, which ends our regular season and we are onto the playoffs now. Way to go LL #3!!
