Novice Rep - Feb 3-9
The Ayr Flames Novice Rep continued through the OMHA and Southern Counties playdowns with games against Ingersoll (1-1), Glanbrook (1-6) and Paris (1-5).

The game against Ingersoll was action packed with no goals scored by either team until Ingersoll scored 8 minutes into the third period.  Excellent offence was seen by the Flames as they outshot and out skated Ingersoll throughout the game.  Kaelan McDougald and William Graff were on fire, passing the puck and moving it down the ice.  Jack Whibbs was absolutely amazing, taking shot after shot on net and forechecking in the offensive zone.  Brielle Dugal and Jesse Janzen were absolutely solid on defence, not letting a puck get past them.  Braydon Woznica was stellar in net and kept the puck at bay.  With 1:23 left in the third, Woznica was pulled to see if the team can put one in the net.  Carter Wright came through with a minute to spare, scoring an amazing top shelf goal, assisted by Mark Zeyen and Liam Foreman.  Next, the team traveled for a hard fought game against an amazing Glanbrook team. Simon DeSousa scored the sole Flames goal of the game, assisted by Austin Brodhaecker and Carter Wright.  Nathan Sherk was simply awesome in net when up against a great team.  Last, the Flames hosted Paris on Sunday morning. Offensive pressure from Scott Hall, Christopher Cotter and James Sayles kept the puck moving towards the Paris goalie.  Liam Foreman was instrumental during a penalty kill, working overtime to ensure the puck stayed out net range.  The sole Flames goal was scored by Carter Wright, unassisted.  The Novice Rep team continues next week with the playdowns.
