Novice Rep - Jan 6 to 12
The Ayr Flames Novice Rep team took to the ice this week for 2 more Southern Counties playoff games.  Friday night, the team faced Hagersville at the NDCC and came away with a solid win (3-2).

Jordan Charron was the alternate player called up and served the team well, opening up the scoring with his first goal on the rep team, assisted by Austin Brodhaecker and William Graff.  Carter Wright followed up with an amazing breakaway scoring the team's second goal - unassisted.  Kaelan McDougald made an amazing pass to Scott Hall, but the Hagersville goalie was in the right place to stop the goal.  James Sayles solidified the win with a unassisted goal. Next, the team traveled to Tillsonburg for a hard fought game which was lost with 8 seconds left in the 3rd period (1-2).  Jesse Janzen scored the Flames sole goal, unassisted.  Throughout both games, the team pushed hard. Brielle Dugal skated hard to the net taking shots, Jack Whibbs and Liam Foreman were solid on defence, Christopher Cotter and Simon DeSousa had some amazing forechecking skills on the ice and Mark Zeyen seems everywhere and always on the puck.  Nathan Sherk was stellar in net both games, keeping the puck in front of him and making some amazing saves.
