Great Games!
The Novice LL1 Ayr Flames have been on fire these past 2 weeks with 3 wins under their skates. First, the team travelled to Elmira for a game against Woolwich Wildcats 3 for a solid 9-0 win.

Jackson Wright scored his first hat trick of the year within the 1st 11 minutes of the game, assist by Derick Groot, Benson Dietrich and Danik Godard.  Egan McDonald followed up quickly with a goal, assisted by Sullivan Cofell and William McLeod.  Wright scored another two goals during the game, assists by Hayden Covemaeker, Carter Cressman and Godard.  McDonald also potted his first hat trick of the season plus 1 extra to spare!

Next, the team travelled to Paris for a game against Wolf Pack 3.  Dietrich opened up the scoring in the first period, assisted by McDonald. Wright followed up quickly with an unassisted goal.  Covemaeker potted 2 more goals, assisted by Wright, Cressman and Godard.  Godard scored his first goal of the season, assisted by Wright.  Wright sealed the deal with the last goal for LL1, unassisted.  The Flames came away with a 6-4 win.

Last, the team travelled to Plattsville for a game against Rage 2.  McDonald was strong scoring 7 goals, which were assisted by McLeod, Cressman, Godard, Grady Brown, Dietrich, and Cofell.  Wright scored twice, assisted by Cofell and Groot. Darko Maldini potted a great goal, assisted by Brown.  Cressman scored 2 more, assisted by Brown.  Covemaeker scored an unassisted goal and Dietrich scored in the final seconds of the game, assisted by Wright.  The boys won 14-1.

Throughout all 3 games, goalie J.S. Deacon was absolutely fantastic in net - stopping shot after shot to secure the wins.  The team is up against a difficult team this coming Saturday.  Come and cheer them on at 8 am.
