End of Regular Season
The Ayr Flames Novice LL1 team finished the regular season in 6th place, tied with Paris and Beverly LL2 with 99 goals for (6th overall) and 33 goals against (5th overall).  They ended the season with 13 wins and 5 losses.  Way to go boys!

Their last game was against Plattsville Rage 1 and the boys came away with a solid 8-3 win.  Jackson Wright opened up the scoring in the first period with 2 solid goals, unassisted.  Derick Groot was spectacular as forward, fighting in the corners and set up great shots on net.  Next, Benson Dietrich scored an amazing goal after a sweet pass from Darko Maldini.  Danik Godard was everywhere, shooting the puck on net but the Platsville goalie kept getting in his way.  Hayden Covemaeker was skating hard, at times carrying the puck in to the offensive zone as centre man, and at times playing defence and keeping the puck out of our zone.  Carter Cressman carried the puck end to end, shooting on net and scoring a beauty of a goal, unassisted.  Sullivan Cofell was spectacular as his centre debut, forechecking and skating hard for the back check.  Egan MacDonald Potted the next two goals, followed by a stellar goal by Maldini.  Defenders Grady Brown and Will McLeod were on fire, working hard to keep the puck away from net minder J.S. Deacon.  Plattsville pulls their goalie to put an extra man on the ice but Wright sealed the deal with 9 seconds left, securing his game hat trick by scoring on the open net.  The team works hard every game, but it is Deacon's goaltending abilities who secures each win for the team.  Another great game by our underage goalie and the team could not be prouder of his numerous saves and only letting in 33 goals over 18 games.  Next, play downs with a push for the cup!
