Novice Rep - Week of November 18-24
The Novice Rep Ayr Flames had another busy week with 3 games and lots of practices. The team standings for the year are 15-7-1 and they are currently in second place for the Southern Counties OMHA League.

First, the Flames met Caledonia at the NDCC.  Austin Brodhaecker opened up the scoring in the first and set the stage for the rest of the game.  Mark Zeyen scored the Flames second goal of the night, assisted by Jack Whibbs. Early in the 3rd, Carter Wright saw an opportunity for a shot, scoring the Flames third goal of the night.  Caledonia got one past Braydon Woznica late in the third but the boys and girl pushed back and Scott Hall scored the last goal of the game 42 seconds after the Caledonia goal (assisted by Austin Brodhaecker and Kaelen McDougald).  Next the team traveled to Twin Centre.  A disappointing loss for the team with the sole goal of the game scored by Scott Hall, assisted by Mark Zeyen and Jesse Janzen.  Last, the team travelled to Cayuga for a hard fought game.  The team was down 2-0 half way through the second period.  Mark Zeyen said enough is enough and together with Jesse Janzen, the Flames scored their first goal of the game.  After the first goal, the team was pumped up but suffered a let down when Cayuga scored bringing the goal difference to 2.  Brielle Dugal was amazing, forechecking with vengeance.  William Graff seemed to be everywhere, breaking up plays.  With 6 minutes left in the 3rd period, Christopher Cotter's hard shot saw the back of the net (assisted by James Sayles).  The fire was back and James Sayles scored the teams 3rd goal 20 seconds later, assisted by Jesse Janzen.  Simon DeSousa was on fire, taking shots to make the Cayuga goalie work overtime.  Liam was stellar in defence, fighting in the corners and coming away with the puck.  With another Flames push and a fight at the Cayuga net, Jesse Janzen and the entire team's effort was realized with the 4th and last goal of the game, assisted by Austin Brodhaecker.
