LL2 had an exciting matchup this past Saturday. The
pressure was on as they headed into game 2 of their best of 3 series vs. the
Beverly Bandits.
Dropping the first game in a narrow loss, they were now facing elimination. The Ayr kids were not ready to let this one go and they did not disappoint.
Caleb Van De Wiel was stellar in net and held off the Bandits while Hudson Maycock scored a pair of beauties and D'Arcy Mason managed to tuck one in on a wraparound making the final result 3-1 in favour of the hometown LL2. The team worked as a unit and all the spectators were treated to an exciting game.
The next and final game will determine the winner of the Grand River Local League Division A Novice Championship and these amazing boys will again have to bring the heat.
