Game Summary
This past Sunday, the Novice 2 team battled it out verses
the Embro Edge in playoff action. The play was intense and the boys had to work
together and play hard.
Their efforts were rewarded as Carter Witzel opened the score early in the first assisted by Hudson Maycock and Garrett Hickey. Shortly after, Spencer Ross scored assisted by Derek McIlravey and DJ Ross. The final pair of Ayr goals were netted by DJ Ross, once assisted by D’Arcy Mason and Cole Hanson and the other unassisted making the final result of the matchup 4-1 for the Flames. It was another stellar game for this group of boys. The team is now preparing for a duo of games verses the Beverly Bandits 1 and 2 next weekend. The results will determine if the Flames will secure a spot in the Grand River Local League Novice championship game. These games are sure to be a great test of the Ayr Flames LL2 skill. Go Flames Go!
