Game Highlights
Coming off a two week period with no game action, the Novice
2 boys had to brush off the dust and lace up their skates this past Saturday
morning. They had to shake it off quickly because their fast and furious opponents were the Ayr Flames Novice 3 team.
The Novice 3 team was no push over and our defensive line-up of Tristan Weiler, Liam Mason, Spencer Ross and Jacob Carter had their work cut out for them. These boys took the task seriously and defended their end with hustle. This defensive play paired with Caleb Van de Wiel's goaltending and our offensive strategy shut down any chances for the Novice 3 team. The result: a 3-0 victory for Team 2! Goals were scored by D'Arcy Mason assisted by DJ Ross, Garrett Hickey assisted by Jackson Dinney and DJ Ross unassisted. It was another great game and both teams played great and most importantly, had fun doing so.
