The Novice LL2 boys have continued their winning
streak with a win vs. Paris Wolfpack 3 at the NDCC Saturday Oct 24.
Their team effort resulted in a 7-1 victory bringing their record to 5-0-0 so
far this season. The win however was in no part due to a lack of hustle from
the Wolfpack.
Liam Mason opened the score assisted by Carter Witzel and Cole Hansen followed by an unassisted goal by DJ Ross. Jacob Carter finished off the first period with the puck seeing nothing but net assisted by Cole Hansen. The Wolfpack kept the action exciting in the second period but still allowed Hudson Maycock and Jacob Carter to setup D’Arcy Mason. Third period action saw goals posted by Jacob Carter unassisted, Hudson Maycock assisted by Liam Mason and Spencer Ross assisted by Carter Wizel and Cole Hansen. The Ayr end was defended meticulously by Garrett Hickey, Jackson Dinney, Derek McIlravey and Tristan Weiler and great saves were made by both goalies especially our own Caleb Van De Wiel.
