Ayr Midget Rep team finishes season as OMHA Midget B Finalists
Captain Alex Hall of the Ayr Midget Rep team accepts the OMHA Finalist trophy from a visiting official of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association on Sunday, March 23rd at the NDCC (photo credit: Clare Arsenault). The team fell short in the final series with the champion Ennismore Eagles, losing a very close best of 5 series by 3 games to one, but capped off a terrific season, having a record of 52 wins, 12 losses and 3 ties. This season included tournament wins in Wingham and Hespeler, and an appearance at the North American Silver Stick Finals in Forest, Ontario. OMHA playdowns featured winning series against Paris, Tavistock, and Mount Brydges, before the final series with Ennismore.
