Ayr Wins North American Silver Stick Midget B Finals
The Midget Rep team headed to Forest early in the New Year, having qualified for the North American International Silver Stick Finals after winning the Regional Qualifying Tournament in Wingham.  The competition was incredibly close, but Ayr ended up winning the championship game on Sunday, January 11th.

Ayr qualified for the semifinals after dropping their first game to the Petrolia Oilers by a score of 4-3 after 10 minutes of overtime and nine rounds of shootout in Forest, beating West London MD Hawks 3-1 in Watford, and then dropping a 2-1 game in overtime vs. South Grenville Rangers in Thedford. Once in the semifinals, they played Petrolia once again and prevailed 1-0, and then beat the Troy (Michigan) Sting 4-3 in the finals.
