Ayr Flames advance to OMHA Finals
The Midget Rep team edged out the Petrolia Oilers 3 games to 2 in the best of 5 OMHA Playdowns Semifinal series to qualify for the OMHA Finals. Petrolia was an excellent team that was well-coached and a pleasure to watch, but the Ayr team played a solid all-round game to finally put the stubborn Oilers away. Congratulations to both teams for an exciting series.
The opposing team for the Finals has not been determined, as the other semifinal series between the Parry Sound Shamrocks and the Kincardine Kinucks has also extended to a 5th game, with the decider scheduled for tomorrow night.
