Bantam L.L. 1, U15, 2014-2015 (Ayr Flames)

The Bantam LL Flames had a great day in Clifford.  After starting the day with a heartbreaking 1-0 overtime loss with the goal scored with 7 seconds left in the overtime, the boys bounced back with a 8-1 win over Woolwich to take the Flames to the Consolation Final.  Down 3 players due to injury, the boys fought hard to take a 2-1 victory over Mitchell and to bring home the Consolation Championship Trophy. The Bantam LL Flames recently competed in the Hespeler Classic Hockey tournament.  They played the most exciting hockey of their season to date with great Goaltending, was very strong Defensively and created a tonne of scoring chances Offensively.  They won of three round robin games and were eliminated in the quarter finals by a strong team from Hespeler.  The boys really came together as a team this weekend and we are looking forward to carrying it in to the second half of our regular season and playoffs.
