Schedule & Results, Atom AE, U11, 2013-2014 (Ayr Flames)

The Flames drew an early morning contest against a tough Petrolia team.  For the first time in the tournament the Flames didn't open the scoring on the first shift but Petrolia did on a goalmouth scramble.  Dylan scored the equalizer mid way through the first to get Ayr back  in the game.  Petrolia took a 2-1 lead late in the period.  The Flames could not get much through to the Petrolia net and it was a rough battle from end to end with plenty of penalties to go around.  In the third a high, hard shot found the top of the net to give Petrolia a 3-1 lead.  Ayr pulled their goaltender late but couldn't close the gap.  The loss ended the Silver Stick tournament for the AE's.
