Schedule & Results, Atom AE, U11, 2013-2014 (Ayr Flames)

After a couple hard fought battles with the Thunder the Flames were challenged by their coaches to turn up the heat in Caledonia Friday night.  With the added pressure of having to start the game without a goaltender it was a brilliant effort by the Ayr team.  Dylan and Tristan combined for three goals in the first 2 minutes while Ben minded the net.  Caledonia was able to sneak one in but Tristan quickly restored the 3 goal lead.
Mathew took over his crease at the mid way point of the period and was quickly in the middle of the action.  He kept a clean sheet the rest of the way as the Flames defense did a great job of keeping the Thunder's big scorers to the outside.  Terrific effort Flames!
