Atom Rep, U11, 2013-2014 (Ayr Flames)

What a way to end the season!!! Atom Rep boys won a hard fought, come-from-behind battle against the Plattsburgh Roadrunners to win the gold medal in Lake Placid. Awesome effort, boys! Congratulations also to our excellent travel partners, the Pee Wee rep boys, who also took the gold! Thanks to everyone for a great weekend.  

First I would like to extend a gigantic thank you to everyone that helped with our final fundraiser of the year!!! The bottle drive was a great success (if a little sloppy) and has put us beyond our fundraising goal for the year. Thanks again everyone! Second. Congrats to the boys for winning the first round of our OMHA playoffs! They are continuing to improve, and I am proud of how they are handling themselves on and off the ice. Our next round will be against Simcoe and our first games will be starting next week (27-31'ish). Please keep a close eye on the calendar. Cheers, Scott

Thanks to everyone that helped with our recent fundraiser dances. Both the adult dance and the kids dance were well attended, and both raised some good money for our team. We will send a final tally soon. Next event is the bottle drive in early January! Thanks again to everyone who contributed. S.

I hope everyone had a great weekend in Collingwood. The goal of the weekend was to have the players gel as a family, to have the parents get to know each other a bit better, and for the team to really start building on some team fundamentals on the ice. I think we accomplished all of those things in spades. The boys won the round robin and lost an epic battle with a BB team in the finals. And they did so with courage and class.
