Organization - OMHA COVID-19 Vaccine Policy Announced

On September 3rd 2021, The Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) announced that all participants (players and volunteers) born in 2009 or earlier must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by no later than October 31, 2021. All coaches, trainers, volunteers, and players are to email their COVID-19 Dose Administration Receipt or Medical Record to the AMHA Privacy Officer at [email protected] ASAP.
Please make sure in the subject line you put:
-The full name of the member
-Team and/or Division of player/volunteer
-If the member is a player or volunteer
-Volunteer position if applicable


Failure to provide proof of vaccination by October 31, 2021 will prevent players and volunteers from, playing on a team, or being rostered as a volunteer until documentation is provided.  Participants can apply to OMHA for special accommodation, details to be provided soon. Anyone wishing to de-register may do so by emailing [email protected]

The following extension has been made to our Terms and Conditions.
A refund less the $50 admin fee has been extended past September 3rd 2021, until September 12th, 2021.
At that time, a refund less $100 total fee to cover the admin and development from September 13th, 2021 until the start of the season, October 1st, 2021, could apply.
 
If we are shut down, and can not offer hockey do to covid-19, a prorated refund will still apply as stated in the original T&C

***NOTE***Waterloo Regional Public Health and the Township of North Dumfries Facility, may have their own requirements and timeline for spectators (including parents and/or guardians), and players to be vaccinated to enter the facility. This information is not been released yet.
