Bantam AE, U15, 2014-2015 (Ayr Flames)

After a slow start to the season and an extended feeling out process with a new combination of players, the Bantam AE Flames are starting to really gel together as a team.  Despite being shorthanded due to unfortunate injuries and the odd suspension for the last couple weeks, we are really rounding into form going a tight 4 wins, 1 loss and 2 ties in our last 7 league games.  I am especially impressed with the discipline and commitment to the system we have shown in the last couple outings.  Let's keep this progression rolling as we head into a fun weekend in St. Marys at the Rock's ...

We are planning a parents meeting prior to our Saturday September 27th game.  We will meet at NDCC at 6:45 and would like at least one parent plus players to attend.  We will review team and rep fees, tournaments, expectations, forms and also a couple of items we as a coaching staff need help with for a successful season.  If you haven't already, please give Dave Weaver an email address for regular team communications ([email protected]).  I will email a bit more detailed agenda to the group shortly once we have compiled addresses.

Final selections are now posted to the Tryout player list tab.  Congrats to all that made it.  Please be at a light practice Sunday morning at 10 am then to the game at 7pm in Dorchester.  We will schedule a parents meeting, shortly to bring everyone up to speed on expectations and our plans for a great season. Welcome to the 2014/15 edition of the Flames Bantam AE.  Thanks to all who are trying out for the this years team.  The roster will get trimmed following Wednesday night's practice then final selection and team roster will be posted to the Tryout list tab of the Bantam AE homepage following Saturday's exhibition game vs. Hespeler.
