Bantam AE, U15, 2013-2014 (Ayr Flames)

The Bantam A/E team fought a hard battle in Game 6 of their OMHA semi-final series against Dorchester and came out victorious with a 2-1 win.  The boys are now looking forward to the OMHA finals against Collingwood. Well done team (players and coaches).  After going down 4 points in the series, you worked hard and pushed ahead without looking back.  You deserve your success. Congratulations to the Dorchester Dragons on their achievements this season.  They are a team with a lot of talent, heart and class.

After dropping the first two games of the series against Dorchester, the Bantam A/E team tied game #3 (1-1), won game #4 (7-2) and had an overtime win in Game #5 (2-1).  Game #6 will decide the series and will be at the NDCC on Tuesday, March 11 @ 6:30. Come out on Tuesday and cheer on your Ayr Flames Bantam A/E team. Way to go boys!! 

The Bantam A/E team defeated Lincoln in three straight games to win their OMHA quarterfinal series.  After giving Lincoln some hope with a narrow 2-1 victory in game one, the Flames steamed ahead with a 6-3 win in game two and a 6-2 win in game three. The Bantam A/E's now wait for a winner to emerge between Dorchester and Strathroy.  Well played boys!!  Your coaches and parents couldn't be more proud!!

Parent meeting scheduled for September 25th at 6:30 (before practice) at the NDCC.  Please bring $200.00 for the rep fee (payable to Ayr Minor Hockey if paying by cheque) and a separate payment of $200.00 (payable to Mike Stranz if paying by cheque) for the initial team fee. Start thinking about fundraising events for the team and bring your ideas to the meeting.
