Notes
Hagersville came to town Friday night and got a running start on the Flames. Ayr did not record a shot in the first period and Nate had to hold off the visitors with a quick stick and glove hand. The Hawks finally cashed in on a rebound 3 minutes into the 2nd. Jordan joined the team as an AP call-up and had a great period carrying the puck and dodging defenders before finally sliding one home from the slot to tie the score. Carter added to the tally with a nice wrister early in the 3rd then James potted one to put Ayr up 3-1. Hagersville kept coming and with just over 2 minutes left their big sniper whipped one into the top of the cage. The Flames tightened up their defense and held off the Hawks to preserve the win.
