    Ayr opened up the Lincoln Novice Tournament with a game against Pelham.  The Flames kept the opposition at bay in the first half of the game and Mark Zeyen made the most of his opportunities to give Ayr a 3-0 lead mid way through the second.  Pelham then started to take control of the game as their aggressive forecheck led to some rebounds.  They stormed back and scored 4 unanswered to hold the lead.  Braydon made some nice stops to keep it close.  Carter had a big last second rush but his shot sailed wide at the buzzer.  Next up is Saugeen Shores on Saturday.
