2023-24 Coaches Applications (Ayr Flames)

2023-24 Coaching Applications for all ages and ALL levels including Rep Tier 1, Tier 2 and Local League are now open.  

**Please read all information as some requirements have changed**

The U16 Tier 1 team, playing in an "A" loop next season requires to have spring tryouts. These coaching application are due by April 8th, 2023. All other applications will remain open until a later date. 
If interviews are required for U16, they will be held soon after the closing date of April 8th. All other interviews will be held at a later date yet to be determined.

**Please note Ayr can enter a second REP team in the same division again this year. In this case the team would be classed as Tier 2 or possibly Tier 3(D) and compete with other centers second REP teams. This all depends on also having a league to play in with enough teams.** The decision if a Tier 2 team will be entered in a division will come from the AMHA board.

**NEW THIS SEASON** - All coaching applications must also include a copy of new VSC (Vulnerable Sector Check), or have a valid one on file within the last two years that will be good for the 2023/2024 season. To find more information click here.
Further more, you must have all coaching certifications needed up to date (If you need to update or take a course, this must be done before the season starts and noted on your application with a detailed plan on how you will be obtaining them). It will be the responsibility of the Head Coach, to have their staff up to date by September 31st.
