2024/2025 REGISTRATION

AMHA Hockey Registration is open from June 16th to August 1st for all age groups for the 2024/2025 season.
A LATE FEE will apply on August 1st and spots are subject to availability!

NOTICE TO ALL CURRENT and NEW MEMBERS

Important information about your registration:

AMHA is committed to providing youth hockey at the lowest cost possible and finding new ways to help offset future increases.

Try outs will take place in September/Early October. The fee must be paid before first tryout date, and no refunds will be given after tryouts start. Please watch the website for more details.

Vaccine mandate requirements have been lifted across all OHF associations in Ontario. It is no longer a requirement to play hockey.

* The U7 Fundamentals program is a one day a week commitment only (Max 25 per season). If registration numbers can't support this program, the option to move into the U7-IP program will be provided at the U7-IP registration rate.
** Could be subject to change before season start.


HOW TO PAY:

 Payments will be accepted via credit card, at the time of registration on the Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) site.  No player will be allowed to participate in on-ice activities until payment has been received in full.  

An installment option is available during registration:

40% at time of registration, plus any other items selected
30% on Aug 1
30% on Sep 1

FIRST TIME REGISTRANTS

If you are NEW TO TOWN and have previously played hockey with another center, please contact our Registrar (click here) before you begin the process of registering for AMHA so that a member transfer can be initiated.

If you have a player who is NEW TO HOCKEY, you can add your new player through the registration portal (use the 'Click Here to Register Now' link above) & be prepared with the following information:

-      First name

-      Last name

-      Date of Birth (yyyy-mm-dd) 

-      Primary address of child (#, street name, city, province, postal code)
-      Copy or picture of proof of address (Parents/Guardians drivers license, ect.)

-      Copy or picture of the child’s birth certificate

** All registrants MUST have a photocopy of your child’s Birth Certificate, and proof of address attached to their Hockey Canada profile in the HCR portal regardless of age.  This is required as per OMHA and Hockey Canada.   If we do not have this on file, your child is deemed not to have fully registered and will not be allowed on the ice.  

** Once per family per OMHA lifetime, the
 
Respect In Sport training program must be completed and linked to the child's HCR profile.  If the Respect In Sport training has not been completed by an adult AND linked to the child's profile, the child will not be allowed on the ice. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

   

  1. Families with 3 or more registrants, will receive a $150 discount on the third child, and $50 on all registrants after if registered at the same time. – Registrants must reside at the same address.
  2. AMHA collects your personal information so that we may fulfill our responsibilities of providing hockey programs in a cost efficient manner. AMHA personal information will be used by AMHA for its programs. AMHA will never sell your personal information.
  3. AMHA may take pictures and videos and post on the website through the season for the purpose of bettering the hockey program.
  4. Registrations received and/or deposits paid after the deadline set, will be accepted pending availability in the respective divisions and subject to a $100 per player late fee. NOTE: U5, U7 and first time registrants to AMHA will be exempt from late fees.
  5. No player will be allowed to participate in on-ice activities until payment has been received in full.
  6. Additional fees may apply (including but not limited to: team fees, tournament fees, travel expenses, admission fees, etc.) and are the responsibility of the registrant or his/her guardian.
  7. Competitive REP team try-out fees can be paid at time of registration or 5 days before the first try-out skate and are non-refundable after the first tryout has started.
  8. Players accepted on a REP Team, must pay a non-refundable fee due before league games begin.
  9. There is a $40.00 fee for any NSF payment.
  10. ***All Registrants and their families/accompaniments, will abide by the AMHA, OMHA and Hockey Canada Constitution, By-Laws, Policies and Code of Conduct***

Refunds:

  • Before Sept 1st, of the playing season a full refund minus $50 administration fee can be made
  • Before Oct 1st, 2023 90% of the registration will be refunded
  • Before Nov 1st, 2023 70% of the registration will be refunded
  • Before Dec 1st, 2023 50% of the registration will be refunded
  • After Dec 1st, 0% registration fees will be refunded
  • No refunds for Rep tryout or Rep fees
  • Prorated refunds will be paid if the season needs to be cancelled for any reason
