Hockey Registration for 2021 Opens December 11
Submitted By AMHA Board of Directors on Tuesday, December 8, 2020
AMHA will be opening registration for hockey programming for January, February, and March on December 11.  Please note the following:

 *   Registration will open the evening of December 11.  The link to Hockey Canada and the online registration portal will be posted on the website.  All registrations must be through the Hockey Canada portal.

*   Registration will close on December 21 at midnight.

*   Please register your child in the age group in which they belong even if they played with a different age group up until Christmas.

*   Cohort groups will be similar to the current groups with adjustments made as needed to ensure group sizes are within health unit and Hockey Canada guidelines.

*   To allow for local health unit restrictions to be met, registrations will be limited as follows:

*   Jr and Sr IP - 50 players total

*   Minor Novice and Novice - 50 players total
*   Atom - 50 players total
*   Peewee - 50 players total
*   Bantam - 50 players total
*   Midget - 50 players total
*   If the player number has been met you can email our registrar
at
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>
to request to be put on a waiting list.

*   Registration fee will be $225.00.  Fees must be paid by credit card at the time of registration for the registration to be submitted through Hockey Canada.

*   Hockey programming will begin January 4 and run through March 28 and will include March Break.

*   Beginning January 4, we will plan for 1 ice time per week.  As local health unit guidelines allow, programming will be modified accordingly.

*   If during the January-March period our health unit enters the grey zone (lockdown) and hockey programming is not possible, AMHA will consider a pro-rated refund to our hockey families.
