Ice Time and Facility Protocol Reminders
Ayr Minor Hockey is
working in cooperation with the Township of North Dumfries to keep our arena
safe. We thank everyone for their patience and cooperation and would like to
pass along the following key reminders to ensure everyone’s continued safety
during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Benches
No one is allowed on the players’ benches until the flood is complete and the Zamboni is off the ice. Benches must be kept clear during the flood so arena staff can sanitize them.
Masks
Masks need to be worn by a player until he/she is dressed (with his/her helmet on) and ready to leave the changeroom.
Masks must also be worn by all coaches and volunteers in the building, using offices or storage space. Masks do not need to be worn on the ice.
Masks must be worn by the parent or guardian who is spectating.
Skate Guards
Please NO roller guards (skate guards with wheels). Rollerblading is not permitted inside the NDCC.
Self Assessment Forms
Players, Coaches and Spectators must complete the Self Assessment form prior to attending all ice times. The Self Assessment form can be found on the Ayr Flames Website under the organization menu.
Please note that being ill (even with a cold) means you cannot come to the NDCC. Anyone who has been in contact with a confirmed COVID case or one waiting on COVID test results, should not come to the NDCC as well. Public health is asking us to remain vigilant as community spread of COVID continues.
Thank you again for your cooperation and assistance.
