Bantam AE International Silver Stick
Submitted By Stephanie Mason on Monday, January 14, 2019
This past weekend, the Bantam AE's headed to Pelham to participate in the International Silver Stick tournament.

They had an exciting tournament full of great hockey and lasting memories.  The team found themselves at the top of their pool after round robin play.  In the quarter finals they faced another American team, the Cadillac Vikings from Midland, Michigan.  After winning 2-1, they advanced to the semi finals to face Center Wellington again.  The boys fought hard and never gave up forcing the game into overtime where they were eliminated with a 2-1 loss.  The team represented Ayr well and we are proud of their accomplishment.

In between games the team go to meet Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, Marcel Dionne and he graciously passed on some advice to the team.  It was a great weekend all around. Way to go, team! Go Flames Go!
