Ayr Regional Silver Stick Finalists and Champions
Submitted By Stephanie Mason on Monday, December 10, 2018
Congratulations to all the Ayr teams who represented this past weekend at the 2nd Ayr Regional Silver Stick held in dedication to Rick Schuster.

We especially would like to congratulate our Bantam and Midget AE teams.

The Bantam AE team finished the round robin at the top of the division with 2 wins and a tie to advance to the semi and then the final.  This time they finally won the championship game with a score of 2-1 over Delhi to be named the 2018 Ayr Regional Silver Stick Champions and Rick Schuster Trophy Winners. Way to go Ayr Flames Bantam AE!

The Midget AE team also had great success. They finished the round robin with a 2-1 record. They advanced to the semi-finals and earned their spot in the final with a victory over the Ennismore Eagles on Saturday night.  In a hard battle against Tillsonburg, the Flames lost out in the championship with a score of 1-3.  Although the team was disappointed with the loss, their hometown is very proud that they are the 2018 Ayr Regional Silver Stick Midget AE Finalists! Way to go, Midget AE!
