Ceremony of Dedication
Submitted By Stephanie Mason on Monday, December 3, 2018
AMHA would like to invite all teams and the parent group to join us for a ceremony to be held at 6pm at the NDCC Thursday, December 6th, 2018 prior to the Silver Stick game between the Ayr Flames and Caledonia Thunder PeeWee AE teams.

We will be taking a moment at this time to recognize Rick Schuster, our ice scheduler and longtime volunteer with AMHA, for his tremendous support of minor hockey in Ayr and elsewhere for so many years, and to dedicate this year’s tournament to him.

Players from any team are invited to bring their Flames jerseys, sticks, skates, helmets and gloves and join us on the ice to show our thanks and support of Rick and his family during this difficult time. A speech will accompany puck drop ceremony at center ice, followed by a salute from the players with a stick tapping and raising to show our thanks for all his efforts over the years.

Please take a moment to write down a memory/experience/ story that you had with Rick during his involvement in AMHA or any other experience. There will be a box available to drop off the envelopes. Let’s show Rick and his family how many lives his involvement impacted.

If any past player/parents can’t make it – you may send an email to [email protected] and Carol Goertzen will print them off and include them.

Thank You!
