Submitted By Stephanie Mason on Thursday, November 15, 2018
Ayr Flames Go Purple is coming to the North Dumfries Community Complex on November 23, 2018 from 6:00pm-9:30pm

November 23rd! Ayr Flames Go Purple Night! Hockey Fights Cancer! Come out to the NDCC!

Founded in 1998 by the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players’ Association, Hockey Fights Cancer™ unites the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families. Together as coaches, players, and fans we look to inspire hope and courage for those who are living with, going through and moving past cancer. Hockey Fights Cancer™

Funds raised through Hockey Fights Cancer™ will support Canadian Cancer Society lodges, support services and transportation programs so no one has to face cancer alone. With 1 in 2 Canadians diagnosed in their lifetime, your participation has never been more important. Be a part of the team.

The teams will be taping their sticks purple, wearing helmet decals, and wearing purple laces. Gate fees collected that evening will be donated back to the Hockey Fights Cancer campaign. As well there will be some special puck drops before each game. Please invite family/friends and wear purple if you have it!
