Amalgamation Vote Complete
Amalgamtion Vote Complete.
The membership vote to consider amalgatmation with Burford, Paris and St. George was held today.
I would like to thank the board members who assisted with the vote today and a special thanks to Sue Foxton for attending the vote in it's entirety and for observing the count of the ballots.
In total 268 votes were recorded.
For the amalgamation to move forward no less than 2/3 of the memberhsip was required to vote in favour.
268 votes were cast
177 votes were required for the amalgamtion to move forward
134 votes were 'Yes' in favour of amalgamation
134 votes were 'No' not in favour of amalgamation
Based on the memership vote Ayr Minor Hockey will not be amalgamating with the other centres.
