Flames head to OMHA Finals
It wasnt easy but together as they have all season the Flames found a way to get by a talented group from Ingersoll and move on to the OMHA Finals

The Flames knew that Ingersoll would bring their best and wanted to end our playoff run. As they have done all year this team rose to the challenge, every one of the 14 players on the roster gave their best effort to achieve their goal.
Game 1 was a back and forth game of momentum swings that would not be settled in regulation. The flames Defence and goaltending held strong and in overtime the offence capitalized for the win.
Game 2 back on home ice the Flames continued rolling with a strong performance that would see a late goal have ingersoll within 1. Goaltending and team defence stood tall to shut the door the rest of the way and give the Flames a 2 games to none lead in the series.
Heading into game 3 the Flames started strong taking the lead 8 seconds into the game. After 1 the flames had a 2-0 lead. Ingersoll would battle their way back and push the flames to overtime once again. In overtime the Flames would once again find a way to solve the Express strong goaltending and win the series.

The Flames will face Mooretown in a repeat of the International Silver Stick Final for what should be another exciting set of games to see who will be the OMHA champion. The only guarantee of this series is that it will be some exciting hockey between two great novice teams.
