Atom AE Flames vs Tillsonburg Nov 3
On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, The Ayr Atom AE Flames hosted the Tillsonburg Tornadoes for an entertaining matchup while the Flames were looking for 2 points.

Gage Montroy would start in goal for this game.  In the first period, The Flames started strong and immediately got shots on net.  Ayr started to win the battles for the puck and have lots of possession in all zones.  The Flames did well by keeping the puck in the offensive zone and clearing the puck out of the defensive zone.  The Flames were able to keep the score tied at 0-0 at the end of the period.  In the second period, the Flames continued to gain possession of the puck and apply pressure.  With 8 minutes left, Simon DeSousa scored a goal after chasing down the cleared puck.  The Flames were excited to gain a lead, and they continued to skate hard and get shots on goal.  Tillsonburg tried to stop the Flames, but Ayr continued to put in 110% effort.  The Flames kept the score 1-0 after 2 periods of play.  In the third period, Ayr used their “ break out” play to clear the puck out of danger.  Shortly after, Curtis Stone pulled the puck away from the defender, got a breakaway, and scored to make it 2-0 for Ayr.  And later, Ethan Dunnet would pot his first goal of the season with assists from Curtis and Joshua Ritchie.  Ayr was very happy about their three- goal lead, and they didn’t stop.  Gage Montroy made save after save to keep Ayr in the game, Kiana Baker, Whitfield Martin, Aidan Graham, and Carter Cressman did a great job of keeping the puck in the attacking zone. Michael Aoun and Gillen Generoux crashed the net well.  Tillsonburg scored a goal, but the Flames won their second game of the season 3-1 with a outstanding effort from all players.

Keep up the great work team!
