Shootout Heartbreak in Dover for the Peewee Reps!
What an amazing experience this weekend for the Peewee Reps at the Port Dover tourney! After pulling through the preliminary round with wins over Waterford, Six Nations and Tavistock the first ranked Flames met a strong team from East Lambton in the Finals. Despite outshooting East Lambton 26-11 and pulling out to a 2-0 lead, two bad bounces drew E.L. even late in the 3rd. Overtime solved nothing and finally after 4 shooters in front of a packed arena, E.L. managed to edge out our Flames. I couldn't be more proud of the effort put forth and how the boys came together...bumps in the road like this can only make us stronger as a team. Great weekend boys!
