Novice Rep - Week of December 1 - 7
This week the Ayr Flames Novice Rep Team took to the ice for 3 regular season games games against Burford (3-2 win), Langton (0-3 loss) and Six Nations (5-2 win). 

The team traveled Monday night to Burford and fought a hard fight for the close win.  Jesse Janzen opened up the scoring late in the first period, assisted by James Sayles and William Graff.  Janzen followed up quickly with another goal, unassisted.  Burford came back to tie it up 2-2 until Carter Wright scored the last goal of the game in the third period, unassisted.  Christopher Cotter and Simon DeSousa were working overtime, clearing the puck.  Tuesday, the boys and girls suffered a disappointing loss to Langton.  Braydon Woznica worked overtime in net, but the team just couldn't pull through a win.  The team came together during a Thursday practice, gearing up for a tough game against Six Nations on Friday.  With a few of the team missing due to the Atom AE Silverstick Tournament, Kiana Baker was called up to play forward and did a great job.  Austin Brodhaecker started the Flames off on the right foot with a goal early in the first period, assisted by Carter Wright.  Four minutes later, Brodhaecker scores again, assisted by Jack Whibbs and Brielle Dugal.  Mark Zeyen ended the first period with the Flames third goal, assisted by Liam Foreman.  Zeyen also ended the second period with a spectacular goal, assisted by Kaelen MacDougald.  Scott Hall saw some great shots on net, but the Six Nations goalie was in the right place to keep them out of the net.  Janzen scored the last goal of the game in the third period, assisted by Brielle Dugal.  Nathan Sherk was on fire during the Six Nations game, seeing 23 shots on net but only 2 getting past him.
