Novice Rep - Week of November 25-30
The Ayr Flames Novice Rep had a slower week with 1 game against St. George (W 8-2).

The Flames came out of the gate strong with a goal by James Sayles, assisted by Jack Whibbs.  Shortly thereafter, Scott Hall passed the puck Carter Wright who took the puck up the ice.  A quick pass to Mark Zeyen and a hard shot provided the Flames with their second goal of the first period.  Simon De Sousa followed up with another goal early in the second period, assisted by Jesse Janzen and Mark Zeyen.  Kaelen McDougald was all over, forechecking and breaking up plays.  Liam Foreman was stellar on defence and worked hard to keep the puck in the offensive zone.  After an awesome pass by Jesse Janzen, Christopher Cotter scored the Flames 4th goal of the game.  Simon De Sousa finished off the scoring in the second period with the Flames 5th and his second goal of the game, assisted by Mark Zeyen.  Austin Brodhaecker had an awesome breakaway but was shut down by the St. George goalie.  Will Graff took a hard shot on the net after a faceoff, just shy of scoring.  After St. George scored their first 2 goals of the game, Carter Wright came back and scored for the Flames, assisted by Simon De Sousa.    Jesse Janzen followed up with his first goal of the game, assisted by Jack Whibbs.  The Flames fought hard to the end with a great pass from James Sayles to Jack Whibbs then to the team's star female, Brielle Dugal who scored the last goal of the game.  Braydon Woznica was absolutely amazing in net, stoping shots when St. George broke through our defence.  The Flames take the ice for 3 games next week.  We ask everyone to come and support the team on December 6th at 6 pm and bring a non-perishable food item to support the food bank. The team will be hosting a 50/50 draw with the proceeds going to the food bank.
