In response to the Ontario Government’s announcement of Thursday, April 1st 2021, AMHA will no longer be able to offer our spring hockey skills program.
The Township of North Dumfries (TND) has indicated that with the potential lifting of the lockdown coinciding with their scheduled season ice end date, TND will be begin removing the ice in the coming days. Therefore, AMHA will be unable to restart the spring hockey program and will now turn their attention to organizing an exciting program starting in September.
AMHA will be issuing pro-rated refunds of $83.50 to all registrants in the coming days. If you paid by Credit Card, you will see the refund on your statement. If you paid by another method, cheques will be issued and mailed.
AMHA would like to thank the Township of North Dumfries staff and council for the support throughout this difficult season. Without their collaboration and support, AMHA would not have been able to provide the programming during 2020-21.
We also would like to thank all the coaches and assistants who volunteered so that we could keep our children on the ice during the pandemic. Your volunteerism during these difficult times resulted in many hours of much needed exercise and enjoyment to our young athletes and should be recognized by our membership.
Finally, I would like to recognize our board of directors for their extensive efforts throughout the past season. Throughout all the changes and difficulties, you remained focused on providing the best experience for our young athletes. Thank you all for your dedication to making the season the best it could be.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email [email protected]
Thank you,
Mike Thibeau
